Guided by CEO Barry Stephens and President Ashleigh Hodges, the Fellowship has achieved remarkable milestones in recent years, including its highest membership to date, the launch of two new Centres of Excellence, and the expansion of education through Hair & Vision events and Creative Xchange presentations.

He believes that tools like automation and AI can unlock new potential while preserving the artistry and craftsmanship of hairdressing.

Through his company, The Profile Guy Digital Agency, Chris empowers stylists with digital systems that streamline client management, enabling professionals to focus on their creativity. As Head of Technology, Chris will explore cutting-edge advancements and ensure Fellowship members are at the forefront of the industry’s tech evolution.

Marcus Allen: Transforming Business Practices

Marcus Allen brings extensive international experience in salon management and education. Having co-founded Paramount Business, a platform dedicated to advanced salon business training, Marcus has been a driving force behind innovation and profitability for high-end salons worldwide. From his work with Urban Retreat and The Refinery to his leadership at Electric Space, Marcus has redefined how creative professionals work and collaborate.

As Head of Business, Marcus will focus on delivering best practices, introducing innovative tools, and fostering a deeper understanding of business strategy among stylists, salon owners, and educators.

With over 42 years in the hairdressing industry, Marnie Williams is a seasoned educator and leader. As Head of Hair and Beauty at West Suffolk College—a 3 Star Fellowship Centre of Excellence—Marnie has been instrumental in creating programs that prepare young talent for industry success. Her collaboration with the Fellowship has resulted in the Centre of Excellence initiative, which champions exceptional education for 16–19-year-olds entering the profession.

As Head of Education & Centres of Excellence, Marnie aims to strengthen the link between education and employment, equipping the next generation with the skills, confidence, and support needed to thrive in the industry.
